BEAUTIFUL, BREATHEABLE MINERAL PAINT

We'd love to help with your next project!

WHAT IS MINERAL PAINT?

Made from naturally occurring minerals and pigments, mineral paint is a sustainable alternative for those who are environmentally conscious. Not only is it durable and resistant to fading, but it also allows for proper breathability, making it a healthier option for your home, especially on brick and masonry surfaces.

WHERE CAN MINERAL PAINT BE APPLIED?

Mineral Paint is a versatile option for transforming a wide range of surfaces. Whether you are looking to revamp wooden pieces, update plaster walls, breathe new life into concrete floors, or add character to masonry features, this paint is the perfect solution. You can even use mineral paint to refresh tired furniture and bring a unique touch to any room in your home. Mineral Paint is a great solution for both interior and exterior walls and ceilings.

WHAT COLORS CAN MINERAL PAINT BE MIXED TO?

Mineral paints can be mixed to almost any of the colors a traditional acrylic paint can be made to, excluding some of the hyper bright colors. Most of the Mineral Paint manufacturers offer their own color palettes. However, it is often easier to work with the color selection of a bigger brand like Sherwin-Williams or Ben-Moore.  This is especially true if your project will require multiple types of paint from different manufacturers. Often coordinating colors cross-brand can be quite a challenge and may require the assistance of a design expert.

IS MINERAL PAINT EXPENSIVE?

There's many factors that determine the price of a painting project including the brand of paint, square footage of the substrate and the contractor you hire. But the most important factor in paint cost is the condition of the substrate. All things being equal, painting a brick house with mineral paint is not generally more expensive than painting a brick house with quality acrylic primers and paints. All projects can have corners cut and be done more cheaply by a contractor willing to use inferior products and skip preparation steps.
