We use Quality Sherwin-Williams Paints rated for 20 years of life. However, we find that even though the paint may last that long, home exteriors move with the weather, wood shifts, seams split and dirt and sun makes the paint not look as good as it once dead. Realistically home exteriors should be painted every 7 to 10 years.
When we paint your home we will be careful to mask off all windows, brick, lights and other fixtures not being painted. The home will be power washed to remove surface dirt, cob-webs and wasp nests from the areas being painted. Repairs will be made per approval of any additional costs. New or exposed wood will receive exterior rated primer and the house will be re-caulked where old caulking has failed. Finally the house will be painted with a quality Sherwin-Williams paint or a paint of your choosing, per the quote.
**It is important to keep in mind that if you are getting new gutters, old gutters should be removed and new gutters should not be installed until after the house is painted**
